Check-in privacy

Last updated September 14, 2026. This page covers the ChillCrown check-in only. For orders and the store, see the store privacy policy.

What this is

A check-in on WhatsApp, only on the evenings around your period window (about 6 messages per cycle), plus one reminder if you don't share your period date. You reply with one character. Your replies build a private web calendar. No account, no app, no password.

What we keep

Always, while you use the check-in:

  • Your phone number.
  • One reply per day: fine, migraine, or migraine where cold helped.
  • The dates you tell us your period started.
  • Your private calendar token (the long random part of your calendar link) and the date you joined.
  • Your time zone, the hour you want the evening message, and a pause end date if you pause it.
  • Whether the one ChillCrown product tip was already sent, so it is never sent twice.
  • Which check-in messages and reminders already went out, so you never get a duplicate.
  • Messages waiting to be sent, such as the 20-minute cap timer.

Only if you choose to send them:

  • If you send CITY: your city and its map coordinates, used for weather pressure-drop reminders.
  • If you send PARTNER: one partner's phone number. We never message that number. It only fills in a share link that you send yourself.
  • If you send KIT: your own kit text.

If you signed up on our web page, we also keep the record of that sign-up: the time, the page, the version of the consent wording you saw, your IP address, which boxes you checked, and your email address if you gave one.

We also keep Twilio's random ID for each message we receive, so a message is never counted twice. That ID holds no phone number and no reply.

Who can see it

Your calendar is shown only to whoever opens your private link. There is no account and no password, so anyone holding that link can open it. That is the tradeoff of no login: keep the link to yourself, like a house key. ChillCrown does not browse individual replies or calendars.

We do not sell your data and we never use it for ads. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

The data passes only through the providers that run the check-in for us: Twilio (sends and receives the messages), Fly.io (hosts the database), and, only if you checked the optional email box, Klaviyo (receives your email address and phone number to send ChillCrown emails).

How long we keep it

Until you reply STOP. STOP deletes all of it immediately, not within 30 days.

How to delete it

Reply STOP to any message, or tap Delete everything on your calendar page. Both do the same thing, right away:

  • Delete every row about you in our database.
  • Ask Twilio to delete the logs of your messages. For messages from the last two weeks or so, Twilio can take that long to finish.
  • Ask Klaviyo to delete any profile tied to your number.

On WhatsApp, what Meta itself retains is outside our control. We delete ChillCrown's own records, in our database and at Twilio, but we cannot delete what WhatsApp keeps on Meta's systems.

The one record kept after STOP

After STOP, one record survives: a one-way scrambled version of your phone number, with the date you opted in, the page and consent wording version you agreed to, and the date you stopped. It does not store your number itself. It can only confirm a match when a carrier or platform auditor already has the number and asks whether it really opted in. It cannot be used to contact you and holds no health data.

Not a medical device

This check-in shows your own pattern so you can share it with your doctor. It is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice.
